Douglas Laing announced the first two new releases for its blended malt range from Island distilleries, which recently has been rebranded from Rock Oyster to Rock Island. The Rock Island have both been blended using single malts from the islands of Islay, Arran, Jura and Orkney.
Featuring the headline “A remarkable encapsulation of Scotland’s Whisky islands” images of the new malts and illustrations highlighting their tasting notes, will form the basis of a multi-channel marketing campaign spanning print, digital advertising, social media and trade collateral.
Rock Island 10 Years Old, will join the range as a continually available offering, joining fellow Remarkable Regional Malts age statement offerings launched earlier this year; Timorous Beastie 10 Years Old and Scallywag 10 Years Old.
