Mumm's very first rose champagne was made in the 1860s and was called "Royal Rose". A century later, Mumm Rose adopted a now-famous design: a rose, painted in watercolour by a friend of the President of the House, the great Japanese artist Leonard Foujita.
The crafting is a long and complex process of which every step is fundamental to ensure the quality and perfection of the elegant Mumm Rose. Respecting the legacy of the champagne method for a Brut Rose, Mumm Rose displays the characteristics of Grands Crus, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
